You can retrieve images by browsing or by searching. Click on Browse GeoDIL to search GeoDIL by category. For example, "Structural Geology." Use the "Standard Search" (below) or "Advanced Search" (bottom of this screen) to find images using phrases, keywords, location, etc. The "standard search" will retrieve all images that contain specific words/letters in some unspecified field - it could be the title field, the description field, the photographers name, etc. The "advanced search" option allows you to specify which of the data fields you want searched for which key letters or words. Both search options allow you to use Boolean "and" and "or" when you search. For example, you could enter the search argument "Mexico and quartz" and the search would find all images that include the word "Mexico" and the word "quartz."
